My daughters who have entered the teens years, have always been my sounding board with my wardrobe and for many years I was always told that I dressed “pretty” or ”cool” until recently. At first it would just be a look or when I asked they would give a face. That‘s when they came clean and said some of my styles were not on trend.
These days like many before, trends change and it is hard to keep up, similar to the new understanding that skinny jeans are no longer in. However I have to stay true to my style and will not be caught dead a cropped shirt that is very popular these days.
I would say my style is romantic chic, I am rarely without a sweater, floral print, jewelry, and cute flats. However, I have found that I can still be fashion forward and maintain my style with a little advice from the girls. My daughters help me with what is popular like the return of our beloved scrunchi‘s of the 80’s to rolled jeans!
There are a few sites they shop from where I can find age appropriate clothing and the prices are so reasonable. Of course, there is always my go to...Target! They have affordable trends to try.
I am including a few links below to some great stores where you can find great deals for a great price to keep looking your best.
